Easy access for Bangladeshi students to prominent Indian Universities & Boarding Schools at ‘Study in India’ Counseling Meet. India-Bangladesh relationship is shaped by the centuries old social-cultural, historical and geographic linkages. Welfare of the people of the two countries is interlinked and developments in one country invariably have an impact on the other. To strengthen the people to people connect between the two nations, Education plays a vital role.  This is where India’s prominent Universities, Colleges and Boarding Schools across India have teamed up to showcase the strengths of Indian education at the gathering of Indian educational institutions in one grand event ‘STUDY IN INDIA’ meet on Friday, 21st & Saturday 22nd July 2017 at BICC, Dhaka. This counseling meet follows from Chittagong on 18th & 19th July at Hotel Agrabad.

‘STUDY IN INDIA’ meet is supported by the High Commission of India in Dhaka. The event will be inaugurated on 21st July at 10:30 am by the Chief Guest, His Excellency Mr. Harsh Vardhan Shringla, the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, along with other distinguished dignitaries and guests from the education fraternity.

The objective of the ‘STUDY IN INDIA’ event is to provide the right information and guidance to Bangladeshi students planning to pursue their studies in India. The counseling meet would be showcasing over 30 of India’s leading Universities, Colleges and Boarding Schools from various parts of the country. It will provide easy and direct access to Bangladeshi students and parents to meet face-to-face with the admission authorities of the participating Indian institutions in a friendly and informal atmosphere in order to seek authentic and transparent information. It would be a great opportunity for the Bangladeshi students to learn more about the new age courses, its career scope, placements, etc. Moreover, it will enable students and parents to gather correct information on courses which are in demand, eligibility, course fees, installment options, placement scope, etc.

The participating schools will be offering the International Curriculum that is Cambridge International Examination (CIE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) along with the Indian Curriculum which is I.S.C.E and C.B.S.E. The School Heads would be interacting and counseling Parents looking for their child’s admission in good boarding schools in India and would offer admission from Standard II to XII with a choice of Girls School and Co-ed School. It would be an excellent opportunity for the Bangladeshi parents to provide world class education to their wards at affordable costs in a comfortable and safe environment.
